A Different View – Parenting Classes
I am very excited to report that we are over half-way through our very first course - the first-ever parenting course of its kind in Australia, based on the book Beyond Consequences Logic & Control by Heather Forbes and Dr Bryan Post.
The course is 5 weeks long, 2 hours per week, and costs $150 per person, ($270 per couple). In addition to the 5 classes there is also an on-line forum available to provide extra support and continue discussion of the topics between classes if desired. You will need a copy of the book Beyond Consequences Logic & Control, Volume 1. If you do not already have one I can supply one for $30 ($35 including P&P).
The course is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about this way of parenting including those with adopted or fostered children, their friends or family, those with biological children and even those with no children who are interested in learning more.
The next course will be held on a Monday night from 7.30 – 9.30PM in Bayswater starting Monday 4th May through to 1st June.
